About the Role:

The Sales Associate plays a critical role in driving the success of our retail operations by delivering exceptional customer service and fostering positive shopping experiences. This position is responsible for engaging with customers to understand their needs, providing product knowledge, and assisting in the selection of merchandise to meet those needs effectively. The Sales Associate contributes to achieving sales targets by promoting products, upselling, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the purchasing process. Additionally, this role involves maintaining the visual presentation of the store, managing inventory, and supporting team efforts to create a welcoming and efficient retail environment. Ultimately, the Sales Associate helps build lasting customer relationships that encourage repeat business and enhance the company’s reputation in the marketplace.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous retail or customer service experience preferred but not required.
  • Basic proficiency with point-of-sale systems and cash handling.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in sales or a retail environment.
  • Familiarity with inventory management and merchandising principles.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Knowledge of the products or industry related to the store’s merchandise.
  • Additional language skills to assist a diverse customer base.

  • Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner to create a positive shopping experience.
  • Provide detailed product information and recommendations based on customer needs and preferences.
  • Process sales transactions accurately using point-of-sale systems and handle cash or electronic payments.
  • Maintain store cleanliness, organize merchandise displays, and restock inventory as needed.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet or exceed sales goals and support store operations.
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
  • Participate in training sessions to stay informed about new products, promotions, and sales techniques.
