Epiphany Center is expanding our Early Childhood Education Center from 15 to 44 children, including the launch of our first-ever Preschool program, four newly renovated classrooms, and a 17,450-square-foot green schoolyard designed for learning, exploration, and play.
We're looking for a Preschool Teacher Aide who is excited to help young children learn, explore, and thrive in a nurturing, trauma-informed environment.

As a Preschool Teacher Aide, you'll work with the Site Supervisor and classroom teaching team to create a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment for children.
- Engage with and supervise children during learning activities, play, routines, and transitions.
- Support children's social-emotional development through positive guidance and nurturing relationships.
- Encourage exploration and discovery in classroom and outdoor environments.
- Assist with meals, snacks, and daily classroom routines.
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment.
- Build respectful relationships with children, families, and coworkers.
- Follow licensing, health and safety, confidentiality, and program requirements.
- Participate in required trainings, meetings, and occasional program or family-engagement activities.
Pay Range: $32.44–$34.44 per hour
This is a full-time, benefits-eligible position. Benefits include medical, dental, vision and life insurance, plus a 401(k) retirement plan.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
Location: San Francisco, CA — On-site
Reports to: Site Supervisor
- At least 6 Early Childhood Education (ECE) units.
- Assistant Teacher Permit, or willingness and eligibility to apply within 30 days of the job offer.
- Previous experience working in a licensed preschool or early childhood education setting.
- Understanding of trauma-informed care and positive child guidance.
- Strong judgment, reliability, communication, and teamwork skills.
- CPR and First Aid certification before beginning classroom work.
- California Food Handler Card and required food-safety training.
- Ability to meet applicable TB, immunization, mandated-reporting, and fingerprinting requirements.
- Basic computer proficiency and written communication skills.
Preferred: Experience working in an inclusive or early-intervention setting.
