In this role, you will conduct physical exams and clinical assessments of research study participants under the supervision of our Principal Investigators (PIs). This position offers a flexible schedule with part-time hours; it is not a guaranteed full-time or set-hours role, and hours will fluctuate based on active study needs.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform physical examinations and clinical assessments of research study participants under the supervision of the Principal Investigator (PI)

• Evaluate participant health status, medical history, and study eligibility criteria

• Conduct study visit procedures and assessments in accordance with the protocol and PI direction

• Identify, document, and report adverse events and concomitant medications to the PI in a timely manner

• Coordinate with research staff, PIs, and other healthcare professionals as needed

• Order or review labs, diagnostics, and other assessments as delegated by the PI and permitted under Florida law

• Communicate study-related findings clearly to participants, research staff, and the PI

• Document all findings, assessments, and progress accurately on study-specific source documents

• Review and sign study-related source documentation promptly and in accordance with study timelines

Maintain compliance with the protocol, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), and all applicable regulations

Requirements: Requirements and Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from an accredited program

• Current, unencumbered Florida APRN license in good standing

• Current national certification (e.g., ANCC or AANP) appropriate to practice

• Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred)

• Prior clinical research experience preferred; willingness to work under PI oversight and study protocols required

• Working knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and FDA regulations preferred

• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and electronic source documentation systems

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to work independently and manage a flexible, variable schedule

• This is a 1099 independent contractor position, compensated on a fee-for-service basis; it is not a benefits-eligible employee role.

• All clinical assessments and procedures are performed under the supervision and direction of a Renstar Principal Investigator (PI), consistent with the study protocol and Florida APRN practice requirements.

• Hours are PRN and will vary based on participant scheduling and active study volume. While the intent is ongoing, part-time work, Renstar cannot guarantee a minimum number of hours or full-time hours.

• All services are performed at Renstar's Ocala, FL facility or Lady Lake, FL facility unless otherwise agreed in writing.

• Scheduling will be coordinated collaboratively between the Contractor and Renstar to accommodate the Contractor's other professional obligations.
