OR, Siuslaw, Central Coast, WINTER CAMP HOST in YACHATS, Oregon at American Land & Leisure

This is a seasonal employment opportunity. Campground Hosts are assigned to a campground area and are responsible for managing the campground, providing unparalleled customer service to our guests, and servicing and maintaining the facilities and grounds.

Prior to a guest's arrival, the Host prepares the facility, sites, and amenities for the clean, operable, and safe use. This entails cleaning, landscaping, inspection, and maintenance of the grounds, sites, restrooms, amenities, and additional facilities. During a guest's visit, a Host continues cleaning, landscaping, inspection, and maintenance and additionally collects fees, fulfills reservations, upholds rules, and sells approved items. When a guest leaves, the Host promptly attends to the site and makes it ready for the next guest. Additional duties and projects are assigned by managers.

NOTE: Some of our campground locations are located in high elevation mountain ranges (from 6,000 ft to over 10,000 feet in altitude). Hosts should check with their medical provider to determine if they are safe to work and live at the elevation of their assigned campground.

This area is located right where the name says, in the central part of Oregon along the coast. Those familiar with the state will recognize that it’s west of Corvallis, OR and Eugene, OR. And if you’ve been to this area you’ll understand that this area is bordered in the south by Florence, OR, continues north past the Heceta Head Lighthouse, north past Thor’s Well, north through Yachats, OR until you reach Walport, OR and then it turns east along Alsea River. It’s a beautiful area that hosts coastal mountains and forests as wells as the Oregon Dunes, beaches of the Pacific Ocean, and rivers that the anadromous fish of the Pacific Northwest travel.
