JOB DESCRIPTION: SUPERVISOR

• Oversee services provided to individuals in their own homes and communities, who need assistance caring for themselves as a result of old age, sickness, disability, and/or other conditions. Home care may include assistance with the activities of daily living, housecleaning, laundry, meal preparation, transportation, companionship, and respite.
• Home Care Supervisors ensure that employees deliver services in a caring and respectful manner, in accordance with relevant Agency policies and industry standards. (Bi-lingual Preferred)

Reporting Relationship

• Reports to Branch Manager/Lead Supervisor

Qualifications/Education

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Current driver’s license.
• Proper Vehicle Insurance Coverage
• 1-3 years of experience in home care, healthcare, or case management preferred
• 1-2 years' experience in supervising preferred

Successful homecare supervisor should understand:

• IDoA regulations and provider requirements
• Electronic Visit Verification (EVV)
• Documentation standards
• HIPAA and confidentiality requirements
