  • Negotiate property-related contracts and vendor arrangements subject to applicable approvals.
  • Promote and enforce safety standards and provide appropriate training for staff.
  • Provide ongoing oversight and follow-up across all aspects of property management to ensure portfolio performance and compliance.
  • Travel regularly, often daily and occasionally for multiple days, to assigned communities and other locations as needed.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of multi-site portfolio management experience, with responsibility for 5 or more communities strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience with affordable housing certifications and recertifications, REAC/NSPIRE inspections, and Management and Occupancy Reviews (MORs).
  • Broad knowledge of property management operations, including accounting, inspections, collections, evictions, marketing, resident relations, and compliance.
  • Strong understanding of financial statements, budgeting, LIHTC requirements, and applicable local and state regulations.
  • College degree preferred but not required.
  • CPM, HCCP, COS, or equivalent affordable housing/property management certification strongly preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple properties, priorities, and deadlines.
  • Strong leadership, supervisory, coaching, and performance-management capabilities.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills when working with residents, clients, employees, government agencies, and other stakeholders.
