Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN)
The Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse provides direct nursing care to adult patients with a variety of acute and chronic medical conditions. The RN is responsible for assessing patients, developing and implementing individualized plans of care, administering medications and treatments, monitoring changes in condition, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary healthcare team.

Responsibilities
Assess patients and monitor changes in conditions.
Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments.
Develop and update individualized care plans.
Provide wound, catheter, preoperative, and postoperative care.
Educate patients and families.
Coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team.
Complete, timely and accurate documentation.
Follow all patient-safety and infection-prevention standards.

Qualifications
Active RN license for the state of practice.
Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
ACLS certification if required by the facility.
Minimum of one year of recent Medical-Surgical experience.
Strong clinical judgment, communication, and time-management skills.
Il license-Active unencumbered
Level I Hospital Experience preferred/some units required
EMR: Epic experience preferred

Schedule
12 hr. Night Shifts-36hrs weekly
Every other weekend
Every other holiday
