Job Title: InStore Sales Associate

Location: Richmond, Virginia

Shift: 1st

Starting Compensation Range: $20.83 - $33.09 per hour

The Instore Sales Associate is an entry level role, specifically focused on developing the needed skills and expertise to meet the requirement of other roles within SITECH. The individual in this role will assist customers to identify their needs, effectively market parts, supplies and repair service sales, respond to all customer parts inquiries, and properly process and prepare orders.

Requirements for the InStore Sales Associate position include:

• Technical aptitude
• Must be a self-starter and be able to handle large volumes of work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to multi-task and have good organizational skills with the ability to prioritize competing demands
• Exceptional customer satisfaction skills and the ability to build solid relationships required
• Must have excellent written, verbal, and telephone communication skills
• Must be able to understand and practice effective sales techniques
• Computer skills are required, including Microsoft products and other applications as needed; with ability to learn Caterpillar’s “Dealer Business System” (DBS) and related rental software programs
• Must be able to work additional hours as needed to meet business and customer demands
• Promote a positive customer experience

• Exhibit complete confidence in providing overflow support via phone / email for other stores, build strong rapport and trust through these methods of communication along, and provide the same exceptional parts expertise and responsiveness that would be provided for a request made within the local store

Seeking Candidates with:

• Minimum of one year experience in a customer facing service role

Physical Requirements:

• Regularly required to sit and talk or hear
• The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms
• Employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and ability to adjust focus as needed will be required to assemble Hydraulic Hoses as well as well as general parts warehousing functions
