Compounding Pharmacist – Sterile Lab Lead
Full-Time | Tipp City, Ohio | Monday–Friday
Impact Compounding is a growing compounding pharmacy in Tipp City, Ohio. We have an established USP <797> sterile compounding lab alongside our non-sterile lab. We are looking for a driven, dedicated pharmacist to lead our sterile lab. You will also support our non-sterile team.
Sterile Lab Leadership
• Oversee day-to-day sterile compounding and serve as a designated person for the sterile program under USP <797>.
• Oversee sterile formulations: review, update, and approve master formulation and compounding records and beyond-use dates, and evaluate new.
• Maintain and refine cleanroom workflow, from order entry and compounding through verification and release.
• Manage our testing, training and quality program.
• Review, update, and enforce sterile procedures.
• Consult with providers and patients on sterile preparations.
Non-Sterile Support
• Verify non-sterile compounded prescriptions and assist with formulation questions.
• Support the non-sterile team with USP <795> and USP <800> compliance.
What You Bring
• Required: Active Ohio pharmacist license in good standing with the ability to get licensed in additional states.
• Required: Hands-on sterile compounding experience, including cleanroom work and aseptic technique.
• Preferred: Non-sterile compounding experience.
• Required: Working knowledge of USP <795>, USP <797>, and USP <800>.
• Clear communicator with staff, patients, and providers.
• Driven and dedicated.
