Content Writer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Content Writer based in Canada.

This remote Content Writer role is ideal for a skilled writer who enjoys creating clear, engaging, and relevant content for diverse audiences. You will develop written materials across websites, blogs, social media, and marketing channels while maintaining a consistent brand voice. The role combines creative writing with research, editing, SEO, and content strategy. You will work closely with marketing stakeholders to translate business objectives and audience needs into compelling content. Success in this position requires strong attention to detail, excellent organization, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. You will also stay informed about industry trends and content best practices to continuously improve performance. Accountabilities
  • Create engaging, informative, and audience-focused content for websites, blogs, social media, and marketing materials.
  • Research industry topics thoroughly to produce accurate, relevant, and well-supported content.
  • Collaborate with marketing stakeholders to develop content strategies aligned with business objectives and target audiences.
  • Edit and proofread content to ensure clarity, consistency, accuracy, and adherence to established editorial standards.
  • Apply SEO principles and keyword research to improve content visibility and support organic traffic growth.
  • Monitor industry trends, content developments, and best practices to continuously enhance the quality and effectiveness of written materials.
  • Manage multiple content projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field.
  • 2–3 years of professional experience as a Content Writer or in a similar content-focused role.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading abilities, with strong command of written English.
  • Familiarity with SEO principles, keyword research, and content optimization practices.
  • Strong research skills, including the ability to gather, evaluate, and synthesize information from multiple sources.
  • Proficiency with content management systems (CMS).
  • Strong time-management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and deliver multiple projects on schedule.
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a consistent commitment to producing high-quality content.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to adapt content to different audiences and platforms.
