The PACU Nurse provides specialized nursing care to patients recovering from anesthesia following surgical, diagnostic, or therapeutic procedures,
The nurse is responsible for closely monitoring vital signs, managing post-anesthesia complications, ensuring patient safety, and preparing patients for discharge and/or transfer to inpatient units,
On call required,
Education Required: Graduate from an accredited nursing program,
BCLS, ACLS and PALS required,
Successful completion of hospital critical care course,
Additional Education Preferred BSN
Licensure Required State of New Jersey RN License and/or Multi-state license
Additional Licensure Preferred State of New Jersey RN License and/or Multi-state license
Experience Required: Minimum of 1-2 years experience in Emergency or Critical care,
Experience Preferred Pre/post op nursing experience preferred,
