Job Description
The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, self-motivated, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. This position will work closely with the location General Manager and President while providing support to field technicians, managers, and office staff.
Primary Responsibilities Inventory & Procurement Support
- Assist with purchasing materials, equipment, and supplies
- Coordinate with vendors regarding orders, pricing, deliveries, and material availability.
- Receive, organize, and stock incoming inventory.
- Assist with inventory counts and warehouse audits.
- Help maintain accurate inventory records and inventory levels.
- Communicate inventory shortages and replenishment needs to management.
Vehicle & Fleet Support
- Stock service vehicles according to established truck stock standards.
- Monitor vehicle inventory levels and replenish stock as needed.
- Gather feedback from technicians regarding truck stock needs and recommendations.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of company vehicles.
- Assist with vehicle readiness inspections and inventory audits.
Warehouse & Facility Support
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional warehouse environment.
- Assist with organization of materials, equipment, and storage areas.
- Support warehouse improvement initiatives and inventory projects.
- Assist with the monitoring of security gate access to the warehouse and inventory.
Material Delivery & Field Support
- Deliver materials, equipment, and parts to technicians in the field.
- Pick up materials from suppliers and vendors.
- Load and unload materials safely and efficiently.
- Respond to urgent material requests to minimize technician downtime.
- Support field teams with operational needs, as assigned.
Administrative & Reporting Support
- Assist managers with generating operational reports.
- Enter and review inventory, purchasing, and operational data in company systems & software (e.g., Concur, Ply, ServiceTitan)
- Maintain records related to inventory, purchasing, and deliveries.
- Assist with special projects and administrative tasks as assigned.
- Assist with pricebook management by updating pricing and metrics in ServiceTitan.
- Provide reports on daily job audits for profitability.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the workday.
- Ability to safely operate company vehicles.
