Nurse Educator - Registered Nurse in Topeka, Kansas at VitalCore Health Strategies

The Nurse Educator is responsible for the development, coordination, and delivery of effective training programs for the VitalCore KS DOC. This role ensures that staff receive the necessary onboarding, continuing education, and professional development to perform their duties within expected standards and practices and maintain clinical licensure. The Nurse Educator plays a vital role in fostering a culture of clinical excellence, compliance, and continuous learning within correctional healthcare settings.

Satisfactory completion of initial and annual clinical competencies to demonstrate aptitude as assigned by role Must have the ability to work independently, take initiative, and have good judgment and problem-solving skills.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS, REGISTRATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's Degree or higher in Education, Nursing, or related healthcare field with at least 3 years of healthcare training experience. Correctional healthcare experience strongly preferred. Certification in leadership training or experience preferred. CPR Instructor preferredDemonstrated track record of effective team leadership with the ability to inspire, coach, and engage multi-disciplinary teams. Ability to quickly gain comprehensive knowledge of VitalCore's organizational structure, clinical operations, and training needs. Must be detail oriented and organized, and capable of managing multiple training initiatives concurrently. Must be an excellent communicator with strong instructional and presentation abilities.
