Job Description
The Elementary Program Coordinator position is a supporting role for the 1-4th grade large group program environments.
Requirements:Key Roles and Responsibilities
· Assist in the running of Sunday morning programming for both 1st-2nd and 3rd-4th grade students
· Turning on and checking all tech for environments
· Welcoming volunteers and explaining program order/changes
· Rehearsing the program with crew and/or supporting a volunteer in that role
· Manage / Run programming and supporting volunteers
· Making sure the environment and tech is shut down at the end of services
· Meeting weekly with the Program Director for planning, vision casting, and discipleship.
· Editing programing slides in ProPresenter
· Working with Director on song selection and choreography
· Gathering materials/props for Bible stories
· Plan and gather materials for Wed. Night Elementary Programming
- Schedule volunteers for Wed. Night Programming
- Plan and coordinate theme change for stages for each unit of the curriculum
- Assist the programming of the 1pm service twice a month if needed
Requirements
• Strong computer skills and proficiency using MS Office
• 3+ years’ experience in church, non-profit, or for-profit business administrative support requiring decision-making, creativity, and a strong work ethic
• HS Diploma or equivalent required, bachelor’s degree, preferred
• Prior experience leading teams or working with volunteers, preferred
• Ability to self-start and see projects through completion without much direction
• Interpersonal skills that enable effective collaboration with parents, other ministry leaders and volunteers
• Strong organizational and administrative abilities
