Our communities are growing and so are our teams! We’re hiring a Multi-Site Lead Service Technician at POD 2 (San Privada, San Piedra & San Villante) in Gilbert & Mesa, AZ. In this role, you will help keep our communities running smoothly by handling maintenance repairs and contributing to the upkeep of the community, while providing the five-star service that makes Mark-Taylor communities feel like home.

Compensation:
- The anticipated base pay range for this position is $26.00/hr.
- All service team members who participate in the on-call rotation receive an additional $3.00/hour incentive for all hours worked while on-call.
- Additional hourly pay for EPA, CPO, and OSHA certifications***
- 2+ years of apartment maintenance, turn, make-ready, or work order technician experience.
- Advanced knowledge of plumbing, electrical, pool maintenance, HVAC, carpentry, landscape maintenance, appliances, and OSHA-related standards.
- One or more industry-specific certifications preferred (EPA, HVAC, CPO, or similar).
- Demonstrated leadership and mentoring ability with a focus on developing and supporting Service Technicians.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and service orientation with the ability to work effectively across multiple communities.
- Strong problem-solving and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage competing maintenance needs.
- Commitment to maintaining property safety standards and promoting a safe environment for team members and residents.
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn and utilize maintenance/property management software.
- Ability to provide hands-on technical support and maintain high standards of workmanship.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
- A basic understanding of written and verbal English.
In This Role You Will
- Assist in the completion of make ready units to Mark-Taylor standards and maintains adequate supply of make-ready units for the Community.
- Trouble-shoot, diagnose and correct minor air conditioning and/or heating failures, appliance repairs, electrical problems, plumbing problems, minor carpentry, and drywall repairs.
- Perform necessary repairs and preventative maintenance on vacant units as they become available.
- Perform daily pool care, assures pool is in proper chemical balance and area is free of safety concerns.
- Complete minor roof repairs, re-key locks, and cut keys
- Inspect the property for safety hazards that may pose a liability and corrects the hazard to inform the Manager of Facilities and Service of the hazard.
- Share on-call duty with Manager of Facilities and Service, and service team members and is readily available to go the property if needed and in uniform/badge.
- Assist in monitoring inventory of parts and cleaning supplies.
- Train and mentor other Service Technician and Facilities Technicians
