Front Desk Associate

The Front Desk Associate at Weymouth Club is responsible for creating a welcoming, professional environment for members and guests. This role includes greeting and checking in members, answering phones and emails, handling inquiries, and providing accurate information about memberships, programs, and facility policies. Additional responsibilities include processing transactions, managing reservations, maintaining a clean and organized front desk area, and supporting overall daily operations. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong customer service skills, excellent communication, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule Requirements **Only applicants with the availability outlined below will be considered**

  • Must be available to start training in July. Start regular schedule in August, Mondays and Fridays from 12:00 PM–8:00 PM and Sundays from 10:00 AM–6:00 PM
  • Flexibility to pick up additional shifts as needed, including early openings (4:30 AM) and late closings (10:00 PM)

Key Responsibilities

Member & Guest Services

  • Warm Welcomes: Greet all members and guests with a friendly and enthusiastic demeanor upon arrival
  • Efficient Check-In: Accurately process member check-ins for gym access and court reservations using club automation
  • Inquiry Support: Direct membership inquiries to the appropriate staff while providing basic information on membership options, benefits, and promotions
  • Information Sharing: Provide accurate details on club policies, hours, class schedules, court availability, events, and programs
  • Issue Resolution: Address questions and concerns promptly and professionally; escalate to management when necessary

Administrative & Transaction Management

  • Process tennis-related transactions, including court fees, lesson payments, and pro shop purchases
  • Register members for tennis, fitness, pickleball, leagues, and other programs
  • Manage and book tennis and pickleball courts in accordance with club policies
  • Answer incoming calls, route appropriately, take detailed messages, and provide general club information
  • Add members to classes as needed
  • Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately, including daily reconciliation

For over 30 years, Weymouth Club has represented “More than Fitness -- It's a Way of Life”. Throughout this period, Weymouth Club has tripled in membership and doubled in size. Our facility is now an 11 acre state-of-the-art 200,000 sq ft facility, with parking for more than 240 cars.
Weymouth Club provides a year-round indoor/outdoor aquatic center with 7 bodies of water, 12 Hard Tennis Courts (of which, 9 are indoor year-round), truly exceptional fitness, tennis, aquatic, group exercise, mind/body, hot yoga and spa services, and a 12,000 sq. ft. "Kids Energy Center". The Energy Center provides child supervision, dance, karate, swim teams, birthday parties, a variety of camps in the summer, spring, fall and winter and lots of other full service children's programming.
