Title: Incoming Quality Inspector
Reports To: Supplier Quality Engineer
Position Summary:
The Incoming Quality Inspector examines tests and verifies incoming materials to confirm they comply with engineering specifications, drawings, and regulatory requirements. Support Supplier Quality functions with sorting, data gathering, and supplier interaction.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Incoming inspection / GP12 Inspection
o Perform daily/per shift routine audits of received products and perform GP12 inspections for outgoing finished products.
o Measure components with tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.)
Defect Identification & Reporting
o Identify and tag non-conforming products.
o Document and report quality issues to supervisors, Supply Quality Engineer, and the Quality Manager.
o Support continuous improvement initiatives and quality audits
Compliance Monitoring
o Ensure compliance with ISO standards, customer specifications, and internal quality systems.
o Monitor implementation of corrective actions and verify effectiveness.
Documentation & Records
o Maintain accurate audit logs/inspection records and assist in preparing daily quality reports and summaries.
Collaboration & Communication
o Work closely with production teams to resolve quality issues in real time.
o Provide feedback to operators on quality standards and best practices.
Safety & Conduct
o Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
o Maintain a clean and organized audit area and work area.
Ensure compliance with Amaneos policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements related to Quality.
Preferred Education and Skills:
• High school diploma or GED (Associate degree in manufacturing or quality preferred)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in quality auditing within a manufacturing environment
• Familiarity with measuring tools (e.g., micrometers, calipers, gauges)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting
