Healthcare Banking Specialist I

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Healthcare Banking Specialist I based in United States.

This role provides an opportunity to support healthcare business owners by delivering tailored financial solutions and relationship management.
You will serve as a trusted advisor, helping customers navigate lending, banking products, and long-term financial strategies.
The position combines relationship building, consultative sales, and financial analysis within a technology-enabled banking environment.
You will collaborate with internal teams to create customized solutions that support customer growth and success.
This role requires strong communication skills, business acumen, and the ability to manage customer relationships remotely.
You will contribute to expanding profitable relationships while ensuring responsible risk management and regulatory compliance.

Accountabilities:
The Healthcare Banking Specialist I will manage and grow relationships with healthcare practice owners by providing personalized banking guidance, coordinating financial solutions, and delivering a high-quality customer experience. The role involves balancing customer needs, business growth objectives, and compliance requirements while collaborating with internal partners.
  • Onboard and manage customer relationships referred through internal partners, identifying opportunities for lending, treasury services, deposits, merchant services, payroll, and other financial solutions.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for healthcare business customers, providing ongoing support and proactive financial guidance.
  • Analyze customer needs, develop relationship strategies, and recommend solutions aligned with business and personal financial goals.
  • Prepare loan documentation, provide written analysis and recommendations, and coordinate with internal teams throughout the lending process.
  • Support loan closing, servicing activities, and portfolio management while maintaining compliance with policies and regulations.
  • Partner with credit teams and risk management professionals to evaluate requests, monitor portfolio performance, and address servicing needs.
  • Build and maintain long-term customer relationships across local and nationwide markets.
  • Identify opportunities to introduce additional banking products and services to business owners and senior leaders.
  • Manage virtual customer interactions, including calls, presentations, follow-ups, and relationship activities.
  • Maintain accurate customer records, pipeline tracking, and activity reporting through CRM systems.
  • Collaborate with portfolio managers and credit officers to support effective credit decisions and relationship management.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate combines customer relationship expertise, financial knowledge, and consultative sales skills to support healthcare business owners. They should be comfortable managing multiple priorities, analyzing customer needs, and working collaboratively in a sales-driven environment.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships while delivering an excellent customer experience.
  • Knowledge of commercial banking products, treasury management services, alternative lending solutions, and financial options.
  • Ability to assess customer needs and recommend solutions that support business profitability and growth.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including experience with phone-based customer interactions, negotiations, and presentations.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-based sales environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience with CRM platforms and sales tools is preferred.
  • Remote customer relationship management experience is preferred.
  • Three or more years of sales experience is a plus.
  • Experience managing business banking or commercial relationships is a plus.
