The IT Project Manager will be responsible for leading technology projects, improving delivery processes, and ensuring alignment between business priorities and IT execution. Key responsibilities include:
- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and success criteria in collaboration with business leaders and stakeholders.
- Develop business cases, evaluate project requirements, and ensure initiatives deliver measurable business value and expected outcomes.
- Manage IT projects throughout the complete lifecycle, including planning, execution, monitoring, risk management, and final delivery.
- Coordinate internal teams, external contractors, and third-party partners to ensure efficient project execution and resource allocation.
- Oversee a portfolio of prioritized IT initiatives while maintaining alignment with organizational goals, budgets, and strategic priorities.
- Establish and improve IT project management processes, standards, and governance practices to support consistent project delivery.
- Lead business analysis activities related to IT service management improvements, including requirements gathering, testing, and implementation of process enhancements.
- Communicate project progress, risks, dependencies, and recommendations clearly to stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Support change management initiatives and act as a driver of adoption for new processes, technologies, and operational improvements.
- Mentor project team members and contribute to the development of project management best practices.
The ideal candidate brings extensive experience managing IT projects, strong business acumen, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams in complex environments. Required qualifications include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business Management, or a related field.
- 8+ years of direct experience managing projects, including project management process development and execution.
- 5+ years of experience leading IT projects and technology-driven transformation initiatives.
- Proven experience building or supporting IT program management offices within global or enterprise environments.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies, software development processes, and technology delivery practices.
- Experience developing business cases, defining ROI expectations, and presenting recommendations to senior stakeholders.
- Experience managing business transformation and organizational change initiatives.
- Knowledge of IT service management platforms and enterprise collaboration tools such as ServiceNow, Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and Teams.
- Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities, adapt to changing requirements, and solve complex problems analytically.
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail, time management, and execution capabilities.
- Ability to work independently while fostering collaboration across technical and business teams.
