JOB SUMMARY
- To serve as the Therapy Lead by being responsible for clinical standards of practice, staff competencies, patient care, continuing education for staff, productivity, staffing, participation in hiring and evaluation of clinical associates, and other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- CLINICAL SKILLS

  - Assess clinical competencies
  - Coaches, counsels, & implements corrective action plans
- DOCUMENTATION
  - Uses objective measurements appropriate to substantiate care

  - Interventions selected match treatment delivered & meet regulatory standards
  - Documentation substantiates charges selected
  - Documentation meets clinical policy & procedure guidelines (frequency, timeliness-daily notes, biannual summaries
  - & discharge instructions)
  - Reviews staff documentation for compliance with policies and procedures.

- OVERSEES AND PARTICIPATES IN STUDENT, AIDE AND VOLUNTEER EDUCATION
  - Assigns students, aides and volunteers to staff
  - Monitors clinical experiences
  - Provides written feedback to students and clinical institutions
  - Develops ongoing clinical relationships with accredited institutions
QUALIFICATIONS

  - Education
    - Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech Language Pathology required
    - Master's Degree preferred
  - Work Experience
    - 3-5 years of experience in a clinical role preferred
    - Previous experience in an inpatient rehabilitation setting preferred
  - Licenses / Certifications
    - Clinical license in appropriate discipline required
