Scrub Tech in Warner Robins, Georgia at Houston Healthcare

Provides direct patient care in the Labor and Delivery setting under the direction of the staff nurse to include a safe, comfortable, and confidential environment. Using sterile technique prepares the Labor, Delivery and Cesarean Section Room. Surgically assists physicians with procedures and functions effectively in obstetrical emergencies. Participates in performance improvement activities. Ensures appropriate resources to all internal/external customers. Responsible for carrying out the mission, vision, and quality commitment of Houston Healthcare.

High School diploma or GED equivalent. Completion of an accredited surgical technology program or is currently enrolled and in good standing in their last quarter of scrub tech program.

One (1) year scrub tech experience. Education may substitute for Experience. Current AHA/ARC BLS certification.

Must be able to utilize standard office equipment. Must be able to utilize diagnostic equipment as well as patient care equipment. Must be able to utilize personal protective equipment such as gloves, gown, mask, etc.

Successful candidates will be subject to criminal background and drug screens.
