About This Position

PLEASE NOTE: This is a full-time, 40 hour per week position for Roving Relationship Banker, reporting to Retail Banking. Rovers travel to Branches in Ukiah, Hopland, Lakeport, Redwood Valley, Willits, Laytonville and occasionally Mendocino and Fort Bragg. This position requires a reliable vehicle for travel. Transportation is not provided. Rovers are reimbursed for mileage and compensated for travel time. There are five (5) openings. The application closing date 08/22/2025.


LEVEL ONE


Job Title: Relationship Banker 1

Department: Retail Banking

Reports To: Retail Banking Administrator

FLSA Status: Non-exempt, hourly

Salary Grade: 13

Starting Hourly Rate: $22.42 - $23.60 DOE

SUMMARY

Savings Bank of Mendocino County has proudly been serving the needs of our communities since 1903 and is seeking a qualified professional for the role of Relationship Banker 1 in one of our Banking Centers. With a focus on building and sustaining customer relationships, this position involves providing customer service excellence, accurate cash-handling, transaction processing, opening new accounts, promoting products and services, and other operational tasks. All Relationship Bankers must successfully complete Relationship Banker training upon hire.

The ideal candidate possesses at least one year of customer service and six months of cash-handling experience. A successful person in this role has strong communication skills; effective organizational and time management skills; is adept at problem-solving; is highly accountable; has impeccable attention to detail; and is adaptable, dependable, and comfortable interacting with a broad range of individuals.   8. Serve as back-up coverage at other Banking Centers (including Video Banking as applicable).
