Med Tech in Saline, Michigan at Linden Square Senior Care

We’re hiring a Med Tech to provide exceptional care and oversight in our assisted living community. This position includes leadership responsibilities and hands-on resident care to ensure a safe, supportive, and respectful environment for our seniors.
Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct care including assistance with bathing, grooming, toileting, mobility, and medication support
• Support and train care staff; model best practices and reinforce policies
• Monitor resident well-being, chart changes in electronic health records, and report to clinical leadership
• Conduct safety checks, maintain secure facilities, and respond to emergencies
• Assist with daily tasks such as meal service, laundry, light housekeeping, and activity engagement
• Manage supplies, maintain medication cart audits, and complete shift-specific documentation (TAR, vitals, labs, etc.)
• Participate in daily walk-throughs to ensure community readiness

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required; 1+ year experience in senior care preferred
• Familiarity with dementia care and safe transfer techniques
• Comfortable using computers and standard office equipment
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for long periods
• CPR/First Aid and medication assistance certifications preferred

Pay: $16.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 32 per week

All Shifts Available:

• First Shift- 7:00a-3:30p
• Second Shift- 3:00p-11:30p
• Third Shift- 11:00p-7:30a

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Holidays
• Rotating weekends

Experience:

• Medication administration: 1 year (Preferred)

Shift availability:

• Night Shift (Preferred)

Ability to Commute:

• Saline, MI 48176 (Preferred)
