POSITION TITLE: Lead Banker
LOCATION: Oconee Market
DEPARTMENT: Retail
REPORTS TO: Assistant Financial Center Manager or Financial Center Manager
EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full-Time
STATUS: Non-Exempt

DEPARTMENT | ROLE DESCRIPTION:
This position is part of our Retail Banking team, which serves as the primary service and sales delivery channel for the market in which it operates.
As Lead Banker, you'll partner with the Financial Center Management to lead the banking team. You'll play a key role in supporting market sales and service goals by ensuring top-tier service, mitigating operational risks, and promoting efficient operations. This position is for a developing leader seeking to grow and develop their leadership and management skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES (INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO):
  • Provide exceptional customer service to all clients, proactively resolving issues
  • Drive sales growth by attracting, expanding, and retaining customer relationships
  • Assist with monthly reporting
  • Lead the onboarding and continuous training of new retail team members within the financial center
  • Partner with leadership by offering insights into team dynamics, supporting performance management, and providing updates on training and development needs.
  • Adhere to and enforce all compliance standards and regulations
  • Ensure branch staff is updated on operational changes and enhancements
  • Ensure the branch provides a welcoming and pleasing environment for all guests
  • Perform all other duties as assigned
EXPERIENCE | QUALIFICATIONS:

MINIMUM YEARS OF EXPERIENCE
  • 2+ years’ experience in retail banking or leadership position
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Experience in sales and customer service
  • Customer-oriented approach to problem solving
  • Actively engaged in leadership and development
  • Ability to analyze and evaluate risk
  • Self-starter capable of prioritizing financial center needs

COMPUTER / SOFTWARE EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
  • Experience with Microsoft Suites products
