Position Summary Information

Job Description Summary:	Clean and set up labs, issue and receive equipment, file, deliver items to other departments, and other office duties as required. Students enter data in order to track and maintain storeroom chemicals while overseeing storeroom security. Supervise and assist with chemical check-out process. Prepare small and safe reagents and supply them for labs (1103, 1108, i.e. Zinc & Cooper strips). Prepare disposable pipettes for experiments. Occasionally assist in the main department office when needed. The Storeroom Keeper is the first visible contact that is trained on safety procedures and has the proper contact info and location for the on-duty safety officer.
