Greet and prepare patients for exams; obtain medical and ocular history

Perform pre-testing procedures such as visual acuity

Assist with diagnostic testing (e.g. OCT, visual fields, fundus photography)

Administer eye drops or diagnostic agents as directed

Educate patients on eye drop use, contact lens care, and post-visit instructions

Schedule appointments, answer phones, and verify insurance eligibility

Process billing and co-pays; assist with insurance claims and authorizations

Maintain inventory of clinical supplies and contact lenses

Ensure cleanliness and proper functioning of exam rooms and diagnostic equipment

Schedule: M,T,THU,F 7:30-5:00 W 7:45-6:00

Must have a high school diploma or GED

Able to pass a background check

Able to pass a drug screen including marijuana

Prior medical office experience is a plus
