Pay Rate: $16.00-18.00/hour (based on experience)

General Summary
The Line Cook is responsible for preparing and cooking menu items in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining high standards of food quality, safety, and cleanliness. This role supports kitchen operations by ensuring timely and accurate food preparation for restaurant service.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to standardized recipes and presentation guidelines
- Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies and ingredients before service
- Ensure all food is cooked and plated correctly, consistently, and in a timely manner
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, workstations, and equipment
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations
- Monitor food stock levels and communicate shortages to kitchen leadership
- Properly store, label, and rotate food items according to established procedures
- Assist with food prep tasks such as chopping, portioning, and marinating ingredients
- Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service operations
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and report any maintenance issues
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment preferred
- Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food safety practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
