About This Position
The Phlebotomy Lead is responsible for collecting and processing blood, respiratory, and urine specimens using safe, accurate, and efficient techniques for laboratory testing. This role supports patient diagnosis and treatment by performing waived clinical testing, ensuring proper specimen handling, and maintaining accurate documentation.
In addition to clinical duties, the Phlebotomy Lead helps oversee daily lab operations, supports workflow efficiency, and serves as a resource for staff. This position requires strong attention to detail, adherence to safety and infection control standards, and a commitment to high-quality patient care.
