Mechanic Assistant at Lee Machinery Movers Inc – Pontiac, Michigan

This is an onsite position that requires the selected candidate to be onsite 5 days per week in Pontiac, Michigan.

Key Responsibilities

Complete preventative maintenance and minor repairs on vehicles and equipment (brakes, oil changes, greasing, etc.)Assist lead mechanics with in-depth repairsComplete assignments efficiently and with accuracyResponsible for keeping the mechanics bay neat and organizedAssist with maintaining the inventory of parts and suppliesParticipate in on-the-job training as needed

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or GED1+ years of experience with mechanics/wrenchingSelf-motivated and able to keep up in fast paced settingExcellent communication skillsBasic computer skillsProblem-solving and decision-making skillsAbility to receive constructive criticismPhysical stamina and dexterity to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
