Nutrition Care Associate II at CaroMont Health – Gastonia, North Carolina

Job Summary: Responsible for patient food service on assigned units, e.g., menu selections and corrections, tray assembly, tray delivery and pick up, special requests and needs, in-between meal food delivery. Must be able to perform all key role responsibilities of Nutrition Care Associate I.

Qualifications: High school diploma or GED preferred. Health care experience involving food services or one year of experience in service industry preferred. Good communication skills, ability to follow written and verbal instructions and complete simple computational skills. Basic knowledge of therapeutic diets preferred. Excellent customer service skills are necessary. Some bending, lifting, pushing and pulling required. Ability to work in a team environment. Possesses necessary skills to effectively operate hospital's admission, discharge and transfer (ADT) system and other computer-based systems, which manage patient-care records.
