Senior Siding Project Manager (Top 1% Only — High Performance Role)

We are looking for a high-performance Siding Project Manager who can run projects, control costs, and operate inside multiple systems without slowing down.

Position Overview
The Senior Siding Project Manager is responsible for the full lifecycle of siding projects—from turnover to closeout. This includes financial performance, field execution, subcontractor management, and accurate system reporting.
You will be expected to manage both field operations and digital systems at a high level.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Management
- Track budget vs. actual on all projects
- Control labor cost per square
- Monitor material usage and reduce waste
- Identify and execute profitable change orders
- Maintain real-time cost awareness
Field Operations
- Drive schedules and eliminate downtime
- Ensure proper job sequencing to prevent rework
- Maintain high-quality installation standards
- Keep jobsites organized and professional
Subcontractor Management
- Set and enforce production expectations
- Hold crews accountable for performance and quality
- Build and maintain strong subcontractor relationships
Client & Communication
- Communicate proactively with clients and general contractors
- Resolve issues quickly and professionally
- Ensure no surprises on project status
Systems & Reporting
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date data in Salesforce
- Upload and manage jobsite documentation in CompanyCam
- Track and manage expenses in Concur
- Utilize Excel for budgeting, cost tracking, and forecasting
- Maintain communication through Outlook
- Prepare documentation using Word and PowerPoint as needed
- Utilize procurement/construction software for material tracking and ordering
Plans, Specifications, Submittals & Code Compliance (Critical Requirement)
This is a core function of the role, not optional.
You must have a strong working knowledge of:
- Construction drawings (plans, elevations, details)
- Project specifications and scope requirements
- Approved submittals and shop drawings
- Manufacturer installation requirements
- Local building codes and inspection requirements
You will be expected to:
- Review plans, specs, and submittals before work begins to ensure full understanding of scope
- Identify and resolve discrepancies between plans, specs, and field conditions
- Ensure all installations align with approved submittals and manufacturer requirements
- Coordinate with Superintendents and crews to execute work correctly the first time
- Proactively address issues through RFIs and documentation—not after installation
- Ensure all work meets code requirements and passes inspections without delays

Technical Requirements (Non-Negotiable)
Software & Systems Proficiency
- Advanced proficiency in:
- Salesforce
- CompanyCam
- Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint
- Concur
- Procurement / construction management software
- Strong computer skills with the ability to manage multiple systems efficiently
Material & Procurement Knowledge
- Strong understanding of:
- Material takeoffs and verification
- Ordering processes and timelines
- Delivery coordination and staging
- Cost control and waste reduction
Technical Expertise
- Deep knowledge of:
- Fiber cement (James Hardie or equivalent)
- Vinyl siding systems
- Engineered wood siding
- WRB, flashing, and moisture management
- Ability to:
- Identify installation issues immediately
- Prevent rework through proper planning and execution
- Enforce manufacturer specifications and code compliance
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience managing siding or exterior construction projects
- Strong leadership and project management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- High attention to detail in both field and systems
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
