About This Position
Description:
We are seeking a highly detail-oriented, organized, and computer-savvy Production Control Clerk to support our fast-paced manufacturing operations. This role is critical to keeping production running smoothly and requires someone who can manage multiple tasks, follow processes consistently, and retain detailed training information.
This position is best suited for someone who:
- Enjoys structured work with many moving parts
- Is comfortable working on a computer throughout the day
- Can stay focused, accurate, and organized under time pressure
- Takes ownership of their work and follows instructions carefully
- Can learn and consistently operate specialized manufacturing software
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate, prioritize, and track production orders to meet customer demand
- Review and adjust production schedules to ensure on-time completion
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate material needs
- Track production progress and provide clear updates to management
- Communicate daily with production teams and purchasing to resolve issues quickly
- Maintain accurate production records and generate reports
- Collaborate with other departments and facilities to ensure smooth operations -updated
- Run daily production batch processing, including DAT file exports, label generation (IG, Tempered, and NFRC), and paperwork preparation — this is the core daily function of the role -added
- Create manufacturing labels accurately based on specifications
Attention to detail is critical. Errors can affect production schedules, inventory, and customer commitments.
Requirements:- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in production control, manufacturing, logistics, or a similar role
- English communication skills (verbal and written)
- Computer skills, including:
- Microsoft Excel (data entry, basic formulas, tracking)
- Microsoft Word
- Ability to learn and operate specialized manufacturing software — full training provided
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent, date-driven deadlines updated
- Ability to follow procedures consistently and retain training
