About the Role:

The Weekend Shift, Friday-Sunday 6:30am- 6:30pm, Haeger Machine Operator plays a critical role in the manufacturing process by operating and maintaining Haeger machines to ensure efficient and precise assembly of components. This position is responsible for setting up the machine, monitoring its operation, and making necessary adjustments to maintain product quality and meet production targets. The operator will work primarily during weekend shifts, contributing to continuous production flow and minimizing downtime. Attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols are essential to prevent defects and ensure a safe working environment. Ultimately, this role supports the overall manufacturing team by delivering consistent, high-quality output that meets company standards and customer expectations.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience operating Haeger machines or similar manufacturing equipment.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to perform routine machine maintenance.
  • Ability to work independently during weekend shifts with minimal supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification or training in machine operation or manufacturing processes.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with reading and interpreting technical drawings or work orders.
  • Basic computer skills for logging production data and communicating with supervisors.
  • Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 pounds safely.

Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate Haeger machines according to production specifications and safety guidelines.
  • Monitor machine performance and product quality throughout the shift, making adjustments as needed.
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of the Haeger machine to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Identify and troubleshoot mechanical issues promptly to minimize production delays.
  • Maintain accurate production records and report any discrepancies or concerns to the supervisor.
  • Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment during operation.
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to support smooth weekend shift operations.
