Description:

Route Driver

We are seeking a reliable and professional Route Driver to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring timely delivery of units to our customers while maintaining excellent service standards. If you are organized, customer-focused, and enjoy driving, this could be a great opportunity for you to grow with a dynamic company.

Key Responsibilities:

- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver units to designated locations according to scheduled routes

- Load and unload units, ensuring accuracy and proper handling

- Service portable restrooms, holding tanks, sinks, and trailers in accordance with company standards

- Verify delivery orders and documents deliveries in Trace2

- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations to ensure safe transportation

- Communicate effectively with dispatcher and customers regarding delivery status and any issues

- Perform routine vehicle safety inspections and report any maintenance needs

- Flexibility to work weekends as business needs require

Requirements:

Education and Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent required

- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

- Minimum of one (1) year of commercial driving experience preferred

- Valid Class A or Class B CDL license preferred, but not required

- Must meet all Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements, including successful completion of a drug and alcohol screening and medical examination

- Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check, in accordance with applicable laws

Skills & Physical Abilities:

- Strong communication skills, including active listening and the ability to clearly convey information.

- Customer service–oriented mindset with the ability to professionally address and resolve concerns or complaints.

- Basic computer proficiency, with the ability to learn and adapt to new systems and software.

- Knowledge of local roads and navigation skills

- Dependable, punctual, and responsible attitude

- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, including traveling across job sites.

- Frequent use of hands and arms for reaching, handling materials, and operating equipment.

- Capability to perform physical activities such as stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling.

- Ability to safely lift, move, and carry materials weighing up to 150 pounds.
