With a strong background in emergency healthcare and a steady hand under pressure, you help create a safe, supported environment where folks know they’re in good hands. Responsibilities
-Administer emergency medical care, including respiratory, trauma, and cardiac interventions, and conduct patient assessments (e.g., drug screenings, BATs).
-Perform record-keeping, filing, and data entry as required, excluding treatment-related records.
-Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment, adhering to safety protocols and standards.
-Provide information on medical treatments and procedures, promoting a culture of health and safety.
-Measure vital signs and collect specimens
-Document all patient interactions and care provided.
-Monitor worker health and manage preventative care on-site.
-Ensure compliance with safety regulations and emergency response procedures.
-Maintain readiness for on-site incidents.

Requirements
-Must be able to work 60-70 hours per week.
-Must be able to work 10-12 hour shifts (rotating shifts, alternating weekends)
-Ability to regularly push, pull, and/or lift up to 50 lbs throughout the work shift.
-Ability to climb without difficulty.
-Ability to frequently stand, walk, handle or feel objects, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl in small spaces.
-Ability to talk, hear, and taste/smell while performing job duties.
-Must have a favorable driving record for the past 5 years.
-Must pass detailed Criminal Background, Motor Vehicle Record, and Drug Screen checks.
-Ability to work independently in remote or isolated locations.
-Must have strong team collaboration skills.
-Knowledge of industry-specific safety procedures (ex: construction).

Skills and Experience
-Strong critical thinking and decision-making in high-pressure situations.
-Skilled in administering emergency care (CPR, trauma management, etc.).
-Knowledge of safety standards (OSHA, local/state regulations).
-Proficient in medical record-keeping and reporting.
-Excellent communication skills for interacting with workers and management.
-Physical stamina to lift, assist, and manage patients.
-Ability to remain calm and professional under stress.
-Experience as an Basic Life Support (BLS) provider

-Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate or equivalent
-Driver’s license
-Texas EMT License

Preferred certifications and licenses
-NREMT License (required without a TX license)

Compensation Transparency
The hourly wage rage for this position is $23 - $25. In addition to base pay, HV Health and Safety offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, continuing education support, and more.
