Summary:

The RedBuilt™ manufacturing plant in Stayton, OR produces engineered wood joists, laminated veneer lumber (LVL) and assembles job packages for delivery.

We are looking for an electrician/maintenance technician to join our team! Full-time positions available for Off shift as outlined below.

Swing shift: Monday through Friday 2 pm to 10 pm (Base pay + $1.00 per hour)

Graveyard Shift: Monday through Friday 10 pm to 6am (Base pay + $1.50 per hour)

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (Minimum Qualifications):

Valid LME (Limited Mechanical Electrical) Minimum License REQUIRED.

Have equipment maintenance or related experience.

Basic Computer skills.

Must complete Maintenance Assessments or Continue Education Program

Willing to progress in getting an Oregon Electrical Supervisor License

Would be a plus:

Would be a plus: Experienced programming PLCs, PJ (Plant Journeyman) or (General Journeyman) License

Experience with LVL (laminated veneer lumber) or Lumber Industry

High School Diploma or GED

Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook

Job Duties:

Maintain hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, Veneer Clipper, LVL Presses and I-Joist line.

Fabrication, welding and cutting

Use computerized system for timesheets

Order parts and maintain equipment

Communicate with vendors

Drive Forklift

Some overtime hours as needed

Physical Demands/Work Environment:

Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Ability to frequently walk and/or stand for prolonged periods of time.

Ability to occasionally bend, squat and/or stoop.

Manual and finger dexterity as required to perform daily job duties.

Frequently works near or around moving mechanical parts.

Exposed to a high level of noise in the work environment.

Exposed to airborne particles.

Work environment Wood processing, manufacturing operation.

Occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions, including variations in temperature and precipitation.
