We’re looking for compassionate and motivated individuals to join our Community Habilitation program. As a Community Habilitation Direct Support Professional (DSP), you will work one-on-one with children and/or adults with developmental disabilities, providing support at home and in the community to help them build independence and life skills. This is a flexible, fun, and rewarding role where you can make a direct impact.

Cases are in Poughkeepsie and Red Hook

What you will be doing:

Teaching new tasksAssisting in the creation and achievement of life goalsPlanning activities within the community Working independently while collaborating with other team members EXPERIENCE:

Working with Individuals that have IDD preferred but not required

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GEDPass all NYS and OPWDD background clearancesAttending a week and a half orientation in Red HookUSE OF YOUR OWN VEHICLE -Mileage reimbursement available
