Vet Technician at Community Veterinary Partners – Lebanon, Ohio

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Vet Technician to join our team at Lebanon Equine Clinic. As a Vet Technician, you will be responsible for assisting our veterinarians in providing top-notch care to our equine patients. Your main goal will be to ensure that our patients receive the best possible care and attention. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, where attention to detail and excellent communication skills are essential.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in Veterinary Technology or equivalent
• Current certification as a Veterinary Technician
• Experience working with equine patients
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Technology or equivalent
• Experience with advanced equine procedures
• Experience with digital radiography and ultrasound
• Experience with anesthesia monitoring
• Experience with equine dentistry

Responsibilities:

• Assist veterinarians in providing medical care to equine patients
• Perform routine procedures such as taking vital signs, administering medications, and collecting samples
• Maintain accurate medical records and assist with billing
• Communicate effectively with clients and team members
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Skills:

As a Vet Technician, you will be using your excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work closely with our veterinarians and clients. You will also be using your technical skills to perform routine procedures and maintain accurate medical records. Attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential. Additionally, experience with advanced equine procedures, digital radiography and ultrasound, anesthesia monitoring, and equine dentistry will be beneficial in this role.
