Job Summary:




A Transducer Production Specialist is responsible for ensuring a smooth and efficient operation and growth between Production and the Support team. They are responsible for ensuring that every customer contact is consistent, professional, and a pleasant experience with Summit Imaging. This person must be organized, detail-oriented, results driven, reliable, excellent at multi-tasking and able to work well with others. This position is responsible for supporting the Transducer Department. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are required in order to get the most out of our assets.

Support Responsibilities:

Manages specific customer accounts to enhance customer experience

Grows and maintains customer relationships

Analyzes and reports health of customer accounts

Performs work to ISO standards

Assists in 24 hour phone schedule


Transducer Production Operational Responsibilities:

Works with technicians and support team to schedule and prioritize repairs

Requests, processes, and closes work orders

Main point of contact between Transducer Department and Support Department for all transducer related escalations

Assists Transducer Department in finding solutions for stalled repairs and repair escalations

Daily Check-In Meetings with Transducer and Line Technicians to go over the day's work, priorities, and any issues

Responsible for updating the shipboard with ETA’s for Support and Logistics in order to set proper shipping expectations

Before exporting for the support team, reviews configuration sessions for accurate information

Managing needed cores for repairs, reviewing cost and issuing as component if need be to meet corporate objectives

Assigning hot cores for immediate evaluation

Maintains inventory levels of transducer stock in accordance with current demand

Coordinates with line production team on current demand

Coordinates with Support to accept, reject or negotiate the item

Execute departments projects internally and externally (molds, lines needed for line project)

Scheduling an effective schedule and to lead team to GP goals and bonus targets. This includes writing the schedule a week in advance, manipulating the schedule as items become UNR and/or new items are approved and establishing the priority of WO's for technicians

Relieve transducer team of Admin duties

Point of contact for all Transducer Department requests

Manage insertion tubes supply

Coordinate with the transducer team throughout the day to make sure they have all items needed

Chemistry with team


Metrics and KPIs

Scheduling work orders with team to meet or exceed production value goals

Scheduling work orders with team to meet or exceed financial goals

Work with department to meet warranty goal

Work with department to meet DOA goal
