Level III Shopping Center Security Officer – Foot Patrol in Texas City, Texas at STRATEGIC SECURITY SERVICES TX LLC

Strategic Security Services TX, LLC is seeking a dependable Security Officer for an overnight outdoor foot patrol position at Centricelf at Winken 35, a shopping center.

The primary responsibility of this position is to maintain a consistent and visible security presence throughout the property. Officers will conduct regular foot patrols of the parking lot and exterior areas, generally completing walking rounds every 30–45 minutes.

The officer will monitor the property for unauthorized persons, suspicious activity, trespassing, attempted break-ins, and other security concerns. Officers are expected to address individuals who are loitering or remaining on the property without authorization and help keep the shopping center secure after business hours.

Standard Schedule: 8:00 PM – 4:00 AM

This position requires officers to remain active and visible throughout the shift rather than remaining stationary for extended periods.

• Must hold the appropriate Texas DPS Private Security registration/license required for the position.
  
• Must be dependable and able to work scheduled overnight shifts from 8:00 PM – 4:00 AM.
  
• Must be physically capable of walking the property repeatedly throughout an 8-hour shift.
  
• Must be comfortable working outdoors and in varying weather conditions.
  
• Must conduct routine foot patrols approximately every 30–45 minutes while maintaining an active security presence.
  
• Must be able to professionally address trespassing, loitering, unauthorized persons, and suspicious activity.
  
• Must monitor exterior doors, storefronts, vehicles, and common areas for signs of attempted entry, vandalism, theft, or other unusual activity.
  
• Must be able to document incidents, observations, and patrol activity accurately.
  
• Must communicate professionally with dispatch, supervisors, tenants, law enforcement, and members of the public.
  
• Must be able to follow post orders, company policies, and reporting procedures.
  
• Must maintain a professional appearance and demeanor while on duty.
  Reliable transportation and consistent attendance are required.
