Campers Inn RV is a family operated RV business and growing! We are seeking a Full Time Human Resource Generalist to join our team. The focus of this role will be supporting company wide Talent and Recruitment initiatives. A desire to learn and grow is a must in this role.

This position will be part of the Corporate team located in Jacksonville, Florida and is an integral member to the HR Department with opportunity for growth! We offer competitive pay as well as benefits for medical, dental, vision and more!

POSITION SUMMARY:

The HR Generalist performs a variety of duties in support of the Human Resources Department including ensuring compliance with new hire documents, providing information and assistance to applicants and new hires.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time.

  • Assists the company in implementing and maintaining Human Resource activities for the talent acquisition and hiring process.
  • Provides guidance to locations for HR department best practices
  • Maintains confidentiality regarding personnel information
  • Responds to employee and manager inquiries in timely manner

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills both verbal and written
  • Demonstrates skills in writing and communication
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws, regulations and guidelines related to general HR
  • Skill in preparing detailed reports
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to exercise considerable initiative and independent judgment
  • Ability to maintain confidential information
  • Attention to detail and ability to cope with several tasks and projects simultaneously
  • Ability to meet deadlines

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • HR Certification such as SHRM, PHR, HRCI preferred
  • Two or more years of experience in HR

MACHINES, TOOLS, EQUIPMENT AND SOFTWARE USED:

  • Usual office equipment including computer, phone, copier and calculator
  • MS Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • ADP Workforcenow preferred
  • Company system applications
  • Other software as applicable

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • This is a hybrid position
  • Sedentary, works primarily in a climate-controlled environment
  • Requires continuous visual ability for use of computer, files and reports

TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Ability to bend or sit for long periods of time. In addition, individuals must be able to reach above shoulders and lift a minimum of 20 pounds
