Job Description
SUMMARY
Maintains a clean, safe, attractive environment in support of overall business operations. Must be an Ambassador of Customer service with eye contact, smile and professional interaction.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Includes but not limited to the following)
- Cleans or disinfects Gaming Areas; chairs, machines and machine banks.
- Cleans or disinfects restrooms; ceiling vents, countertops, fixtures, floors, mirrors, partitions, sinks, tampon disposal units, toilets, trash receptacles, urinals and walls.
- Restocks restroom dispensers; roll towel, seat cover, soap and toilet tissue.
- Cleans or disinfects break areas, conference rooms, office areas and support services areas.
- Cleans or disinfects Team Member Locker Rooms.
- Cleans or disinfects elevators, elevator lobbies and hallways.
- Completes projects as assigned.
- Comply with all safety and security procedures; observe and report damage to or vandalism of company property.
- Dusts cabinets, ceiling vents, fixtures, partitions, signage, stairwells, walls and work stations.
- Dust mops, damp mops, spot cleans, sweeps floors and stairs.
- Empties, cleans or disinfects and re-lines trash receptacles; disposes of trash in a safe and sanitary manner.
- Operates mechanized cleaning equipment; maintains all cleaning equipment and materials in a safe and sanitary working condition.
- Reports equipment malfunctions, building deficiencies and/or safety hazards.
- Responds to calls for housekeeping service; communicates requests for beverage and gaming service.
- Sort, wash, dry and stage soiled laundry according to Departmental Protocols; sort and stage uniforms for pick-up by the uniform service.
- Vacuums carpeting and walk-off mats.
QUALIFICATIONS
- To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
- This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Previous Housekeeping experience in a public setting is desired.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions, applicable forms, and memos in English. Ability to complete required forms. Ability to effectively communicate information in one-on-one and small group situations to guests and team members of the organization. Must be proficient in English.
REASONING ABILITY
- Ability to understand and follow written and/or oral directions or instructions. Ability to deal with problems pertaining to essential duties and responsibilities.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
- Must be able to obtain a Gaming License.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to bend, lift, push, pull, reach, stand and/or walk. Must be able to lift between 40 - 50 pounds.
