Position: Delivery Driver
Job Type: Hourly, non-exempt
Experience Required: Minimum 1 year of commercial truck driving
Who We Are: Artisan Premades produces a variety of grab and go food found at your local coffee shop or cafe, including – Tosti (sandwiches), Shine (salads) and Bolt (wraps) and Molly’s Grown to Eat (wraps, sandwiches & salads). What you’ll do: This position serves as our primary delivery driver, ensuring products are delivered safely, accurately, and on time while providing outstanding customer service. Additionally, you will support inventory management, quality assurance, and facility sanitation. This is a safety sensitive position and requires a clean pre-screen as well as periodic drug screens during length of employment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate box trucks (up to 24 ft) to transport products between the production facility to area customers
- Load, secure, and unload products to ensure damage-free delivery
- Provide courteous, professional customer service and promptly communicate delivery or product concerns
- Maintain delivery schedules and resolve on-road issues independently
- Coordinate will-call pickups; pick, pack, stage, and fulfill customer orders accurately
- Verify delivery paperwork, obtain customer signatures, and complete documentation
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections, log pre- and post-trip refrigeration temperatures, and report maintenance needs
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace in compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
- Submit a clean Motor Vehicle Report annually
- Submit clean periodic drug screens
- Safely operate warehouse equipment to load and unload trucks
Qualifications:
- 1 year experience driving commercially
- Valid WA state driver’s license and ability to comply with local, state and federal laws of the road
- Must pass pre-hire background check for criminal history
- Must submit a clean Motor Vehicle Report before hire
- Ability to submit a clean pre-screen as well as periodic drug screens during length of employment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to function efficiently and accurately
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
- Ability to maintain regular and punctual attendance during scheduled shifts
- Must pass driving assessment during the interview process
- Food service, customer service, catering, or delivery driving experience a plus

Work Environment and Physical Demands:
- Requires vision, hearing, walking, standing, sitting, twisting, lifting, carrying, dexterity, reaching, kneeling, pushing/pulling, bending, crouching and climbing
- Requires moving around in food manufacturing facilities, administrative offices, logistical operations and storage areas while staff/machinery are in operation.
- Requires sitting and driving vehicle for 4-9 hours per workday
- Frequent use of telephone, calculator, printer/copier, computer and software programs.
- Frequent exposure to adverse temperatures; some areas in facility are at a temperature as low as 0 degrees Fahrenheit, with slippery surfaces
- Frequent exposure to chemicals, hazards, food substances (including common food allergens), meat products, equipment operations, and noise
