Manager of Career Coaching
Post University | Waterbury, CT (Hybrid as applicable)
Salary: $70,000
Schedule: Monday–Friday (required flexibility for evenings/weekends)

Post University is seeking a dynamic and driven Manager of Career Coaching to lead and grow a high-performing career coaching team serving a diverse population of students and alumni, primarily working adults advancing or transitioning in their careers.
In this highly hands-on role, you will build, develop, and manage a team of Career Coaches, drive meaningful student engagement, and deliver impactful career readiness initiatives that empower students to confidently achieve their goals.
What You’ll Do
- Build, manage, and coach a team of Career Coaches and Peer Career Coaches
Lead recruitment efforts and strategically scale a high-impact coaching team
Manage and develop career coaching staff to drive student-centered outcomes
Proven leader with strong managerial capabilities
- Deliver personalized career coaching (resume development, interview preparation, job search strategy, career transitions)
- Design and lead workshops, outreach campaigns, and career programs that drive engagement and outcomes
- Partner with faculty and campus teams to embed career readiness into the academic experience
Drive adoption of digital career tools and platforms while tracking and reporting on program outcomes and student success metrics
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree required
Demonstrated years of management experience, including building, leading, and developing teams in a fast-paced, student-focused environment
Experience in career development, higher education, HR, or a related field
Proven ability to coach or advise students, alumni, and adult learners
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Passion for helping students build confidence and achieve career success
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Experience developing training materials, workshop content, and student engagement initiatives
- Ability to collect, analyze, and report data to inform programming and decision-making
Familiarity with career services platforms such as Handshake, Big Interview, Interstride, or similar systems
Entrepreneurial approach to building programs, engaging students, and solving problems
