Occasional early mornings, evenings, and weekend work may be required based on business needs.
Position SummaryWe are seeking a motivated and customer-focused IT Support & Network Administrator to join our team. This position is responsible for providing technical support across desktop systems, enterprise applications, network infrastructure, mobile devices, and cloud-based services. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with firewalls, routers, switches, Microsoft technologies, and end-user support.
In addition to traditional IT support responsibilities, this role will assist with the technical setup, recording, production, and distribution of podcasts and other digital media content. The successful candidate will spend a significant amount of time working from our Clearwater office and will work closely with leadership to support podcast recording and related technology needs.
This role requires a proactive problem solver who can think critically, take ownership of issues, and deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesSystems & Application Support- Install, configure, upgrade, support, and troubleshoot enterprise applications.
- Support Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office, and approved desktop applications.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues to minimize downtime.
- Provide application recovery and user data restoration support.
- Manage email accounts, user access, and distribution lists within Microsoft 365.
- Deploy and customize operating system configurations for new devices and upgrades.
- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot firewalls, routers, and switches.
- Diagnose and resolve LAN/WAN connectivity issues.
- Ensure seamless integration between desktop systems and Azure Active Directory, Microsoft 365, servers, and other enterprise systems.
- Utilize diagnostic tools and methodologies to identify and resolve network and workstation issues.
- Provide backup support for network administration activities as needed.
- Install, maintain, repair, and support desktop computers, laptops, mobile devices, printers, scanners, and peripheral equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance to ensure optimal workstation performance.
- Customize hardware configurations based on business and user requirements.
- Package and ship equipment to branch locations and client sites.
- Maintain accurate hardware and software inventory records.
- Assist with the technical production and recording of company podcasts and digital content.
- Support IT Team with podcast recording sessions and equipment setup.
- Configure and maintain microphones, mixers, audio interfaces, cameras, and recording equipment.
- Troubleshoot audio and technical issues during recording sessions.
- Assist with podcast editing, publishing, and distribution activities.
- Maintain podcast production equipment and ensure reliable operation of recording systems.
- Recommend improvements to podcast production workflows and technology.
- Respond to and resolve hardware, software, application, and connectivity support requests.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for technical support issues.
- Educate end users on software, hardware, and peripheral device usage.
- Work directly with vendors to resolve technical issues.
- Escalate issues appropriately to ensure timely resolution.
- Maintain a professional, positive, and customer-focused approach when supporting users.
- Collaborate with team members on new office builds, upgrades, and technology implementations.
- Follow and help improve desktop support standards, policies, and procedures.
- Maintain working knowledge of company systems, processes, and best practices.
- Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience supporting:
- Firewalls
- Routers
- Switches
- Desktop environments
- Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Experience supporting Microsoft Windows environments and Microsoft 365.
- Experience supporting the technical development and production of podcasts, webinars, or other digital media content.
- Familiarity with podcast recording, editing, publishing, and distribution platforms.
- Working knowledge of audio equipment, microphones, mixers, recording software, audio interfaces, and basic audio troubleshooting.
- Experience with video conferencing, webinar platforms, and digital content production tools.
One of the following:
- Certificate in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- Associate's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- Equivalent hands-on IT experience supporting networks, servers, firewalls, routers, and switches
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Critical thinker with the ability to solve problems independently
- Knowledge of:

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Ability to support both technical infrastructure and digital media production initiatives
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Must be able to work on-site from the Clearwater office for a significant portion of the work week.
- Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle required for travel to client locations.
- Ability to lift and move computer equipment, networking hardware, and podcast production equipment as needed.
- Willingness to occasionally work outside normal business hours to support installations, upgrades, recordings, and critical business needs.
