About This Position

The Enterprise Data Administrator is responsible for administering and maintaining enterprise-level customer, pricing, contract, and item data across multiple business systems. This role requires a detail-oriented, self-directed professional who can take ownership of data accuracy, maintain structured processes, and support cross-functional operations through reliable data management.

The ideal candidate is a fast learner with strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Success in this role requires the ability to work independently, follow established procedures, identify data inconsistencies, and troubleshoot issues proactively while meeting tight deadlines.


Primary ResponsibilitiesMaintain and update sales contracts across enterprise systems.

Create and manage customer “ship-to” records and related configurations.

Establish and maintain customer funding sources and billing profiles.

Perform ongoing profile maintenance for billing and electronic systems, including pricing, charge codes, and customer attributes.

Create, update, and manage purchase contracts within the ERP system.

Review and approve new item setup requests for raw materials, supplies, and finished goods, ensuring adherence to naming conventions and data standards.

Perform monthly costing refreshes for inventoried items.

Set up and maintain vendor records, including validation and review of required data elements.

Create and maintain new customer records and ensure ongoing data accuracy.

Update billing assignments and sales ownership within customer records.

Create and maintain chart of accounts entries as needed.

Maintain a forward-looking contract pricing calendar with key milestones and deadlines.

Update commission rates for designated product categories as required.

Support additional data administration initiatives and projects as assigned.

Required Skills and AbilitiesHigh proficiency in data entry with exceptional accuracy.

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables and data analysis.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to data integrity.

Self-starter with the ability to work independently and solve problems.

Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.

Process-oriented mindset with a focus on consistency and documentation.

Strong mathematical, accounting, and analytical skills.

Ability to collaborate effectively within a dynamic, team-based environment.

Willingness and ability to quickly learn new systems and workflows.

Education and ExperienceHigh school diploma required; some college coursework preferred.

Experience working with ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics NAV or similar).

Prior experience managing controlled or master data sets.

Experience supporting customer contracts and pricing structures.

Work EnvironmentThis position operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment, including computers, phones, and other business tools.


Physical DemandsThis role is primarily desk-based with standard office activity. Essential physical requirements include prolonged sitting, periodic standing and walking, and routine use of hands and vision for computer work. Occasional bending or lifting of light materials (under 10 lbs.) may be required.
