The Redding Rancheria is seeking a Clinical Nurse Manager. The preferred schedule for this position is Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.

The listed wage reflects the entry-level rate for this position. Compensation may be adjusted based on experience, education, and qualifications

JOB SUMMARY:

Clinical Nurse Manager works in close collaboration with the Director of Nursing (DON) to support the daily operations and clinical oversight of multiple outpatient health clinics within the Redding Rancheria Tribal Health System, including primary care, urgent care, and procedural services. This position serves as an essential link between nursing staff, providers, and administrative leadership to promote safe, efficient, and patient-centered care. The Clinical Nurse Manager assists in ensuring consistent clinical practices across all clinic sites and acts as the back-up to the DON during absences, providing leadership continuity and operational support. Additionally, this role serves as a liaison to assist in addressing patient concerns, facilitating service recovery, and ensuring a positive care experience for all patients.

REQUIREMENTS/MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Minimum of five(5) years of progressive healthcare leadership experience in an outpatient, clinic, or healthcare setting (primary care or urgent care experience preferred)
  2. Must possess strong leadership integrity, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to quality, safety, and patient satisfaction.
  3. CPR Certification.
  4. Must possess a valid driver’s license and have reliable transportation to and from work sites.
  5. Indian preference.
  6. Must pass pre-employment drug screening.
  7. Must be fingerprinted and pass background check.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:

  1. Work collaboratively with the Director of Nursing to plan, implement, and evaluate nursing services across multiple clinic locations, ensuring consistency and quality of care delivery.
  2. Support day-to-day clinical operations of primary care, urgent care, and procedure areas, including patient flow, staff coordination, and adherence to clinical protocols.
  3. Assist with monitoring and supporting quality indicators, patient satisfaction data, and incident reports to identify opportunities for improvement and assist in the implementation of corrective action plans.
  4. Assist in the development, review, and implementation of clinical policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.
  5. Serve as a patient liaison to assist in resolving concerns, complaints, grievances, or dissatisfaction, and facilitate effective service recovery with professionalism and compassion.
  6. Collaborate with clinic providers and staff to ensure effective communication, coordination of care, and optimal use of clinical resources.
  7. Participate in staff education, competency assessments, and training to maintain high standards of clinical practice and patient safety.
  8. Assist in workforce scheduling, resource allocation, and coverage planning to support smooth clinic operations across the Health System.
  9. Participate in the recruitment and selection process of nursing and provider personnel as requested.

  11. Act as the on-site or system-wide Nursing Leadership representative in the absence of the Director of Nursing, ensuring continuity of decision-making and clinical oversight.
  12. Participate in nursing in-services and clinical training opportunities.
  13. Work closely with the Nursing and Admissions supervisor to ensure patient scheduling is seamless, error free and the most productive while always ensuring access to care is not diminished.
  14. Maintain the confidentially of all patient care information
  15. Promote culturally sensitive and patient-centered care in alignment with the guiding values, mission, and goals of the Redding Rancheria Tribal Health System.
  16. Participates in feedback, orientation, or performance discussions as assigned by the Director of Nursing.
