Global Specialist, Solutions Engineering

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Global Specialist, Solutions Engineering based in United States.

This is a high-impact solutions engineering role focused on helping organizations understand and reduce their digital risk through advanced internet intelligence and cybersecurity solutions.
You will serve as a technical leader throughout the customer security transformation journey, connecting business priorities with practical technical solutions.
The role combines consultative selling, technical discovery, solution design, demonstrations, workshops, and validation engagements.
You will help customers operationalize security intelligence within their workflows to uncover unknown assets, prioritize real exposure, and improve security outcomes.
Working across Sales, Customer Success, Support, Channel, and specialist teams, you will orchestrate complex opportunities and drive successful technical outcomes.
You will engage with both technical and executive stakeholders, translating complex concepts into clear business value and measurable impact.
The position offers broad exposure to cybersecurity, cloud, networking, and emerging technologies in a globally distributed environment.

Accountabilities:
  • Build and execute strategic account plans that expand the adoption and footprint of internet intelligence and cybersecurity solutions while supporting and exceeding sales objectives.
  • Conduct technical, operational, and business discovery to understand customer priorities and translate complex security challenges into effective solution designs.
  • Help customers identify unknown assets, understand their attack surface, prioritize real exposure, and integrate security intelligence into existing security workflows.
  • Drive adoption and value realization by partnering closely with Customer Success and supporting customers throughout implementation and ongoing platform utilization.
  • Lead technical demonstrations, presentations, workshops, webinars, and validation engagements for both technical audiences and senior business stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key technical decision-makers and influencers, helping customers build security and attack-surface-management strategies grounded in actionable intelligence.
  • Lead technical validation efforts that demonstrate differentiated capabilities, address customer requirements, and secure technical wins within complex sales opportunities.
  • Coordinate Specialists, Channel resources, Customer Support, and other internal teams to deliver a unified approach across strategic opportunities.
  • Promote comprehensive solutions, including relevant professional services and partner capabilities, to accelerate customer outcomes and maximize investment value.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the competitive cybersecurity landscape and clearly communicate the advantages of internet-scale intelligence compared with point solutions and platform-centric alternatives.
  • Represent the organization at conferences, industry events, customer meetings, and other external engagements as a technical subject-matter expert.
  • Continuously strengthen technical and professional expertise while staying current with cybersecurity trends, emerging technologies, and responsible applications of AI.
  • Use AI thoughtfully to improve productivity, strengthen analysis, and amplify technical expertise while maintaining sound professional judgment.
Requirements:
  • 6+ years of experience in pre-sales, sales engineering, solutions consulting, or a closely related customer-facing technical role.
  • Strong expertise in at least one relevant domain, such as networking, network security, cybersecurity, private or public cloud security, SOC and endpoint technologies, or SASE.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering cybersecurity solutions that address complex technical challenges and influence new business initiatives.
  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders and gain technical and commercial buy-in across customer-facing or internal environments.
  • Experience creating and delivering technical presentations, workshops, demonstrations, and technical validation engagements.
  • Hands-on experience selling, designing, implementing, or managing solutions involving network security, SASE, SaaS, CNAPP, SOC transformation, or related technologies.
  • Experience supporting customer implementation and adoption in collaboration with Customer Success, Support, or other post-sales teams.
  • Strong understanding of complex enterprise sales involving lengthy sales cycles, multiple buying centers, and multi-product solutions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate sophisticated technical concepts into clear business outcomes for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong consultative, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, with a customer-focused approach to identifying requirements and designing solutions.
  • Ability to work effectively across sales, engineering, customer success, support, channel, and specialist teams without relying on a large dedicated organization.
  • Willingness to travel when required for customer meetings, events, workshops, and other field engagements.
  • Curiosity and commitment to continuous learning, including the ability to use AI responsibly to enhance efficiency and technical impact.
Benefits:
  • Competitive base salary of $207,000–$248,000 USD for high-cost-of-living locations including San Francisco Bay Area, New York City, and Seattle.
  • Base salary range of $186,000–$237,000 USD for other US locations.
  • Eligibility for bonus and sales incentive compensation.
  • Equity opportunities.
  • Health, dental, and vision coverage.
  • Retirement benefits with company contributions.
  • Parental leave.
  • Mental health and wellness benefits.
  • Flexible paid time off.
  • Professional development stipend to support continued learning and career growth.
  • Fully remote opportunities across the continental United States, with compensation localized according to work location.
  • Reasonable accommodations available throughout the application and employment process.
  • In-person onboarding at the company headquarters may be provided for successful hires.
  • An inclusive, globally minded environment that values diverse experiences, perspectives, and backgrounds.
