Job Title: Support Staff for F&B

FLSA Status: Part Time

Job purpose

Sets and cleans dining room tables before, during, and after meal service. Assure the cleanliness of the dining room before, during, and after dining service. Creates a positive experience for all members and guests through a positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Duties and responsibilities

1. Serves water as guests are seated.
2. Bring bread and butter.
3. Assists in carrying food to tables.
4. Remove soiled dishes from the table; bring them to the dishwashing area.
5. Removes soiled linen and replace it with clean linen.
6. Sets tables with silverware, glassware, and clean linen.
7. Help reset the dining room.
8. Stocks server station with supplies
9. Collects trash from the dining room, grill, and other specified places after each serving period.
10. Empties linen bag.
11. Stocks linen closet
12. Keeps ice bins and buckets filled.
13. Greet members and guests with their names.
14. Accommodate highchair or booster chair needs.
15. Keep a close eye on all tables to ensure cleanliness and organization.

17. Waters refilled at ½ full.
18. Assure that they have silverware replaced after any has been pulled.
19. Assure all parties have a napkin (Offer Black if they are wearing black slacks)
20. Assure all settings are proper.
21. Assure table clothes are clean and crumb-free.
22. Candles are lit and flowers are alive.
23. Refill water on all tables (try for a full dining room sweep every 10 minutes)
24. Notify the server that their table has been watered and breaded using the last names of the guests.
25. Periodically check in with the Expo in the kitchen to see how the “Flow” is going.
26. Assist the expo in running food to tables as well as marking forks and knives. (Protein at 6 o’clock or facing the guest)
27. Answer Expo for directions on what needs to be done.
28. Support Staff must bring water to the table in 30 seconds!
29. Support Staff must greet within 1 minute!
30. When the guest has left, break down the table and reset.
31. Remove all glass and silverware onto a silver tray.
32. Remove dirty linens.
33. Reset table with water glasses, silverware, tents, sap, flowers, and candles (check candles for fuel)
34. This must all be done within 1 minute of guests leaving so stay in contact with servers as well as keep an eye on all tables.

• Always work indoors. Often wear uniforms. Work physically near others.

Physical requirements

• Stand for long periods of time. Repeat the same movements. Use their hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls. Bend or twist their body.
