Responsibilities
The Annuity Processing Specialist will process annuity applications, ensuring each case is effectively managed to minimize turnaround time and maximize customer satisfaction. This role is responsible for reviewing applications and supporting documentation for completeness and accuracy, processing new business submissions, and coordinating activities necessary to move cases to completion. The Annuity Processing Specialist may also support reinstatements, conversions, and other policy servicing activities while providing service and support to agents, members, and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and track annuity applications from receipt through completion, including data entry, case management, follow-up on outstanding requirements, and generation of related correspondence.
- Review applications and supporting documentation for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with technical, legal, and underwriting guidelines.
- Respond to inquiries from agents, members, and other customers, providing timely and professional service while escalating complex issues as needed.
- Consult with the Annuity Processing Consultant and other internal partners on complex applications or processing issues.
- Support the processing of reinstatements, conversions, and other annuity transactions, and perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; some college-level coursework preferred.
- 1+ years of experience in a process-oriented customer service, operations, or administrative support role.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and other business software tools.
- Experience using internet-based systems and applications for data entry, research, and case management activities.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain accuracy, manage multiple priorities, and communicate effectively in both written and verbal formats.
